Internet Replacing Instructors? Not a Chance!

Internet Replacing Instructors? Not a Chance!

Do you think guys like Jack and Arnie back in the '70s would have even dreamed that launch monitors would exist today? No way! It’s amazing just how much technology has advanced the way golf is taught, bought and sold to the masses.

Let’s start first with instruction. In the pre-Internet era, newcomers could only rely on professional instructors, golf publications, or (gulp) other amateurs for swing tips and advice.

Today, players of all skill levels have a plethora of resources available to them in an instant. Hooking it 30 yards off the tee? A quick, easy Google search on your smartphone can tell you a few ways to fix it. Duffing your chip shots? Check out one of the thousand YouTube videos dedicated to that topic.  Not getting enough turn in your backswing? There’s probably an app for that.

While access to this information is great, nothing compares to personalized instruction from a professional. Teaching pros are able to quickly spot swing flaws and bad habits, and can put you on the most efficient path on becoming a respectable, consistent player.

If you’re debating on whether or not lessons but aren’t 100% sold, do it. In the long run, you won’t regret it.

Lastly, let’s shift focus on how the golf industry has changed; in particular, golf training aids. There’s been a noticeable growth in creativity, innovation and engineering in recent years that has given the golf products industry a major boost. The Perfect Putter is a terrific example of those three elements working in complete harmony.

The Perfect Putter was derived on a little outside-the-box thinking of having a device that improve your green reading, rather than trying to change your putting mechanics. As a result, The Perfect Putter has become one of the most trusted putting aids available today.
