Hitting the long ball certainly helps, but it’s not essential in playing your best golf. We all know the classic saying by now: Drive for show, putt for dough.

Somebody who can hit it a long way AND possesses a silky-smooth putting stroke … that’s someone who has a chance to take home the hardware every time they tee it up.

With that, let us introduce Harris English: one of the many golfing professionals who trust The Perfect Putter.

After a successful collegiate career at the University of Georgia where he was a four-time All-American, English turned pro in 2011, but not before making some serious noise on theWeb.com Tour. The future looked very bright for English after winning the Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational as only the third amateur to earn aWeb.com Tour victory. Even sweeter, his first win on the next-level came just one day after his 22nd birthday.

What’s kept the 6-foot-3 Georgia Bulldog on the big stage since 2012 has been his well-roundedness and the numbers backing it up.

As we alluded to earlier, Harris is long. So far during the 2016 season, he’s averaging 296 yards off the tee with the big stick. That ranks 38th on TOUR.

But what really makes the two-time TOUR winner special is his prowess with the flatstick. Also for the 2016 season, English ranks an amazing 13th in strokes gained: putting (after 44 measured rounds). However, he still has some work to do if he wants to get back to the 10th-place ranking he occupied in 2015. Talk about a dual threat!

Take, for example, his performance at the DEAN & DELUCA Invitational. English putted lights out on the tricky green complexes at Colonial Country Club. For the week, he ranked third in strokes gained: putting and second in putts per green. It earned him a solo second-place finish, his highest finish this season.

Most importantly, English contributes maintaining his TOUR-caliber putting performances by using The Perfect Putter.

"The Perfect Putter is the best training tool I've ever seen on the PGA TOUR,” said English. “All these years, I thought I needed to work on my stroke to be a more consistent putter. After using The Perfect Putter, I have realized that aim and speed have so much more to do with putting than the actual stroke. I walk off the putting green with confidence that I can start the ball online. Truly the best tool I've seen and I never practice putting without it.”
