The End Season

The End Season

The 20016-2017 PGA Tour Season is officially over.  What a tremendous year filled with many exciting moments and unbelievable finishes.  The Majors were filled with gut wrenching shots and they crowned very worthy winners.  Sergio finally got his coveted and deserving Major, Brooks Koepka powered his way to victory, Jordan Spieth took us on a roller coaster ride to capture The Open and his 3rd leg of the Grand Slam and Justin Thomas out ran his competition to tame brutal Quail Hollow.  The regular season had its fare share of fireworks, Dustin Johnson (4), Hideki Matsuyama (3), Jordan Spieth (3) and Justin Thomas (5) all won at least 3 times each.  The American Team out performed and convincingly beat the Internationals at this year’s President Cup Matches, with a team that looks hungry to claim the Ryder Cup in Paris.  The level of performance by so many different players is a testament to how good the players are.  Each passing yearthe competition is fiercer and the fields deeper and deeper, separating oneself from the rest is harder to do this day in age.  It is safe to say that Golf is in great hands.

The Perfect Putter was very well represented on all four PGA Tour affiliated Tours, notching victories on the PGA Tour, Web.com Tour and PGA Tour Lationamerica.  We had 7 different players win on the PGA Tour totaling 9 victories, 2 different players on the Web.com totaling 3 wins and 2 different players on PGA Tour Lationamerica (through 12 events) claiming 3 tournaments. There was also a lot of upward mobility as a total of 7 players gained their PGA Tour Cards through the Web.com Tour.  We are especially proud of Mexico’s Roberto Diaz who earned his playing privileges, Roberto has been a student and a loyal Perfect Putter user for many years and we are excited to see him out on the PGA Tour where he belongs!  We also had a loyal Perfect Putter users put up some amazing putting stats out on the PGA Tour, finishing 2nd on Overall Putting, 2nd on Total Putting, 8th on One Putt Average, and 45th on Strokes Gained Putting as well as getting his first PGA Tour win during his rookie season. In addition, 3 players that trust our products finish inside the top 6 in Strokes Gained Putting.  Wins and great stats were not our only reason to celebrate, we also had faithful users qualify for the US Open as well as making the International Team for this years President Cup Matches.

All these players have a different putting stroke, a different putter in hand and a different outlook on putting but they all work on their basic putting skills and they tangibly work on their strengths and weaknesses.  We are honored that they put their trust in our products and are excited to be part of their journey to better. It has been an incredible year and we are working hard to make it an even better one next season!
