As an athlete or general sports fan, you’ve probably heard of a phenomena known as “The Zone” at one point or another. Anyone who’s visited magical place will tell you that this unique frame of mind is instantly recognizable, and the feeling you get is undeniable.

One minute making a 4-footer up the hill seems impossible. But find yourself in the zone and that 25-foot big-breaker doesn’t seem so daunting. It’s as if all of a sudden something clicks and you’ve reached your next level. Your mind is totally in tune to your body, and everything becomes somehow effortless.

Information overload is a golfer’s worst enemy. One of golf’s most famous, brilliant, and incredibly accurate quotes comes from the timeless Bobby Jones. He said:
